Point of Care Network Opens Nominations to Recognize America's Top PAs

PARSIPPANY, N.J., May 21, 2018 Point of Care Network (POCN), the largest network of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants (PAs) in America, has opened nominations for America's Top PAs, with the goal of recognizing and celebrating influential and impactful PAs practicing today. While physicians have been able to nominate their peers for various "Top Doctor" listings, this is the first time that PAs have been able to recognize the top members of their own profession.

Advanced Clinicians, including PAs, Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Certified Nurse Educators (CNEs), are invited to nominate a PA who is demonstrating excellence in care quality and delivery, professional and practice development, and community outreach and involvement. Nominations are being accepted now at AmericasTopPA.com.

According to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AAPA) and the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are currently 97,620 PAs practicing and prescribing in the U.S., and the PA workforce is expected to grow 30% by 2024. As the influence and impact of PAs continues to be crucial to the quality of care in the U.S., the time has come to recognize and celebrate their contributions.
