PORTLAND, Maine, May 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Maine Magazine announced today that they are a proud sponsor of the Royal River Conservation Trust's Run of The Royal.
Now in its third year, the "Run of the Royal" is a corporate canoe challenge presented by Maine Beer Company. This four-leg, flat-water canoe relay race supports the Royal River Conservation Trust and its plans to acquire and improve headwater ponds, tributaries, and access points and shoreline habitats up and down the river, and on Casco Bay.
The race's relay format, with eight racers paddling four legs (two paddlers/leg) is an amazing team-building opportunity. And the organization is expecting more than 20 teams with over 100 paddlers.
