The final collection of urban residences will debut this month at
McKinley Village, the award-winning village in East Sacramento,
California. The
New Home Company (“NEW HOME,” NYSE: NWHM) has announced Cedar, a
neighborhood of 40 single-family detached residences set in the heart of
the master-planned community.
McKinley Village, which is planned by NEW HOME and Riverview Capital
Investments to include 352 homes upon completion, opened to national
acclaim for its thoughtful land plan in the fall of 2016. The village,
which has received numerous industry awards, including “Master-Planned
Community of the Year,” is designed to foster connectivity and healthy
living with a wealth of parks, common greens, public art and homeowner
amenities including its state-of-the-art recreational facility and
clubhouse.
Cedar is the sixth and final neighborhood of new residences unveiled at
McKinley Village. The two-story contemporary homes, designed by Woodley
Architectural Group, range from 1,589 to 2,082 square feet with up to
four bedrooms and three and one-half baths.
The homes of Cedar are situated near the McKinley Village Clubhouse and
community parks. The floorplans feature open kitchens, dining rooms,
great rooms and outdoor patios. To enhance the ease of living, buyers
may choose to install an elevator in any of the three available
floorplans. Sales at Cedar will begin on March 23 with prices starting
from the mid $500,000s.
“Based on our past success with comparable product types at McKinley
Village, as well as our ongoing market research, we’re excited to
introduce Cedar to buyers looking for an attainably priced home in
Sacramento,” said Kevin Carson, Northern California President for NEW
HOME. “McKinley Village is unlike any other community in the area and
Cedar represents its next innovative living concept that provides new
housing opportunities that are close to jobs, schools, restaurants,
shopping and services.”
All of McKinley Village’s neighborhoods offer modern design and
conveniences that enhance quality of life and minimize maintenance and
repair associated with older alternatives in the area.
In addition to Cedar, McKinley Village includes the following
neighborhoods:
-
Birch | Cottage Greens | Up to 2,781 Sq. Ft. | Selling from the High
$500,000s to Low $700,000s -

Those who stroll through the neighborhood will find inspiration from the
public art installations, most of which were designed and crafted
specifically for McKinley Village by artists from the Sacramento region.
In addition to the outdoor public art works, McKinley Village features
the arts in other important and distinctive ways. The McKinley Village
Way underpass at the entrance to the neighborhood and the McKinley
Village Clubhouse tower are lit with state-of-the-art, multi-color LED
lights. McKinley Village streets are named for respected local artists
and the parks have been named for civic leaders with a passion for art,
