This Charity Is Planning A Nowruz Celebration In San Diego To Help Girls With Disabilities

SAN DIEGO, March 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- A Nowruz Bazaar is peculiar concept for someone who hasn't been raised in a Persian household; every year in March, Persians start preparing for Nowruz ("Now" meaning new, and "Ruz" meaning Day) by shopping for new attire, cleaning their homes to welcome spring, and setting up Haft-Seens – A ceremonial table setting, that involves a spread of seven items symbolizing heralds of Persian life. For example, a Haft-Seen table might include vinegar to represent patience, sprouts to represent rebirth, and an apple to represent health. Haft-Seen can also include items such as painted eggs, flowers, and coins. Nowruz Bazaars are festivals where you can get delicious Persian food and desserts, as well as, everything you need to prepare for the Persian New Year.
