Edenred Commuter Benefit Solutions Selected By The City Of New York (FISA-OPA) To Administer The City's Employee Commuter Benefits Program

BOSTON, March 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Edenred Commuter Benefit Solutions (ECBS), a leading provider of pre-tax commuter benefits, announced today that it has been selected by the The City of New York's Financial Information Services Agency and Office of Payroll Administration (FISA-OPA) to administer and manage the City's employee commuter benefits program.

Under this 5-year contract, ECBS will administer the commuter benefits program for more than 61,000 participating City of New York employees. Additionally, ECBS will be staffing a walk-in customer service center in midtown Manhattan for City employees. Products to be provided under this new agreement include the NYC Commuter Prepaid Mastercard^®, Access-A-Ride, Park-n-Ride, and the Annual Transit Card. ECBS will be establishing new accounts for program participants in mid-April and will be managing the transition process.  The  transition to ECBS is scheduled to be completed by July 1, 2019.
