Juan Pablo Murgia, selected by Tim Atkin MW as "Young Winemaker of the Year" in his 2021 Argentina Special Report and as "Winemaker of the Year" by renowned wine journalist Patricio Tapia, has played a key role in the promotion and communication of Argento sustainable principles. Juan Pablo–who is under 40 years old–is the Technical Director of Grupo Avinea and manages five wineries, with a special focus on Bodega Argento and the southernmost winery on the planet, Otronia (imported by New Frontier Wine Co.).
