A group of firefighters, paramedics, and police officers from a fire station in Brownsville, Texas, show their daily work and reveal a universe of extreme, dramatic and impactful stories in HÉROES EN UNIFORME, the new Discovery en Español documentary series premiering March 3 at 9pm E/P.
Fire stations wake up to new and unexpected challenges every day. They can receive a call for a victim trapped in a hotel; a man impaled on the border; an arson in a thrift shop; a group of pregnant women trapped inside a crashed car at the border; or a man suffering a heart attack in mid-flight. Regardless the emergency, these HÉROES EN UNIFORME will come to the rescue and save the day.
Through testimonies of victims, relatives, witnesses and fire station members, each episode features true heroic rescues and impactful cases. The series main characters – the extremely demanding Chief with the kind heart, the newbie that is getting used to the job, the paramedic whose father gave his life in service, and the engine driver whose job is to make every second count- honor their department motto "Courage, Commitment, and Compassion" with their heroic and invaluable daily work.
