The Liberty Children's Home in Ladyville in Belize Receives 200 Pairs of Shoes Through the Efforts of Billy Lerner's Wife Marcella De Martin, Ambassador for the Billy 4 Kids Foundation

New York, New York--(Newsfile Corp. - August 15, 2022) - The Billy4Kids foundation's ambassador, Billy Lerner's wife, Marcella De Martin, recently played an immense role in donating 200 pairs of shoes to The Liberty Children's Home in LadyVille Belize.

The Liberty Children's Home is a sanctuary for more than forty children in Belize who have been subjected to neglect and abuse. In addition to this adversity, the area of Belize that they inhabit, undergoes exposure to parasitic diseases that affect 740 million people worldwide. These parasitic diseases are often present in soil, so foot protection is crucial for survival in many cases.

The donation of 200 pairs of shoes to this home in Ladyville Belize directly affected the lives of children in The Liberty Children's Home and many other members of the Ladyville community as well.

50% of children in Belize live in poverty and do not have their basic needs of food and shelter met. A goal of Billy4Kids is to actively work to lower this number everyday with every mission they complete and every donation they make. Billy Lerner and his wife, Marcella De Martin, along with co-founder, Alexson Roy have each helped to make huge strides in benefitting and changing the lives of those who inhabit these impoverished areas.

As a mother herself, Marcella De Martin is making changing the lives of hundreds of children around the world a significant priority in her life and philanthropic career. Billy4Kids has been regularly donating to The Liberty Children's home since February of 2019 and will continue to do so along with the additional aid of ambassador, Marcella De Martin.
