Mobiv Acquisition Corp Announces Closing of Initial Public Offering and Exercise of Full Over-Allotment Option

NEWARK, DE, Aug. 08, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mobiv Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ: MOBV, the “Company”) announced today the closing of its initial public offering of 8,700,000 units at $10.00 per unit (the “Offering”). Each unit consists of one share of Class A common stock and one redeemable warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one share of Class A common stock at a price of $11.50 per share. The underwriters exercised their over-allotment option in full for an additional 1,305,000 units on August 4, 2022 (“Over-allotment Option”). The Over-allotment Option was closed with the Offering. As a result, the aggregate gross proceeds of the Offering, including the over-allotment, is $100,050,000, prior to deducting underwriting discounts, commissions, and other Offering expenses.

The Company’s units began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on August 4, 2022 under the ticker symbol “MOBVU.” Once the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the shares of Class A common stock and warrants are expected to be listed on the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker symbols “MOBV” and “MOBVW” respectively.

The Company is a blank check company formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses.
