Victoria's Secret PINK Launches First-Ever "PINK GRL PWR PROJECT"

NEW YORK, Feb. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Victoria's Secret PINK is inviting women between the ages of 18-25 who are leaders, trendsetters and go-getters in their communities to apply for funding that will help make the individual's GRL PWR goals a reality with PINK's first-ever GRL PWR PROJECT. This project complements the brand's campus rep program on college campuses all over the country where more than 1,600 young women have been empowered to enhance their marketing, networking and professional skills for more than a decade.

"The GRL PWR PROJECT is a natural extension of the PINK brand – we are looking to help fund the dreams of young women who exemplify ambition, optimism and confidence," says PINK's CEO, Amy Hauk.

Twenty young women will be chosen to receive $10,000 to help power their dreams and jumpstart their bright futures. Women between the ages of 18-25 can submit their entries from February 5^th through February 28^th, 2019 on the PINK Nation App for a chance to win. Each applicant will provide a brief video detailing how they would best use their award to empower themselves and/or others. Applicants will also be asked to share thoughtful responses about the female heroes that have inspired them. Submissions will be judged based on passion, drive and originality. A panel of notable judges, to be announced at a later date, will select the 20 applicants to receive $10,000 each.

Along with the PINK GRL PWR PROJECT contest, there will be several experiences for all PINK Nation members to participate in including on-campus events, a PINK bus tour and in-store events. which will be announced in the next few months.
