DGAP-News: Energiekontor AG: Wind farm project Vettweiss-Müddersheim sold to Danish investor

• Wind farm project in North-Rhine-Westphalia with a generating capacity of 7.2 MW successfully sold
• Wind farm project again sold to Danish investor Difko
• Power production sufficient for over 4,000 households

Bremen/Herning (Denmark), May 18, 2022 – Energiekontor (ISIN DE0005313506), a leading German project developer and operator of wind and solar parks, sold a further wind park project to the Danish investment company Difko that is specialised in sustainable investments. The wind park project sold is in the Southwest region of North-Rhine-Westphalia, in the municipality of Düren, and has a total generating capacity of some 7,2 MW. The wind park is expected to generate some 13 GWh of electricity annually, which would cover the yearly electricity needs of over 4,000 average German households. Commissioning of the park is scheduled for April 2023.

Difko had already acquired a wind farm project in Elstorf from Energiekontor in August 2021. With the recent transaction the cooperation between the two companies has now been successfully continued.
