MFDA Hearing Panel issues Reasons for Decision (Penalty) in the matter of King Kwong Clement Chow

TORONTO, Jan. 19, 2022 /CNW/ – A Hearing Panel of the Prairie Regional Council of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada ("MFDA") has issued its Reasons for Decision (Penalty) dated January 18, 2022 ("Reasons for Decision"), in connection with a penalty hearing held electronically by videoconference on August 25, 2021, in the matter of King Kwong Clement Chow ("Respondent").

In its Reasons for Decision, the Hearing Panel confirmed the sanctions imposed on the Respondent. In particular, the Respondent:

• has been permanently prohibited from conducting securities related business in any capacity while in the employ of or associated with any MFDA Member;
• shall pay a fine of $50,000; and
• shall pay costs of $7,500.
