Newton Wellesley Primary Care Takes Home Top Prize in MHQP Patient Experience Awards

WELLESLEY, Mass. and NEW YORK, Dec. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Castle Connolly Private Health Partners, LLC (CCPHP), congratulates Newton Wellesley Primary Care (NWPC) for receiving the top prize for Adult Practices in Massachusetts Health Quality Partners' inaugural MHQP Patient Experience Awards.

Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP) is an independent, non-profit organization that brings together key healthcare stakeholder groups to help provider organizations, health plans, and policymakers improve the quality of patient care experiences throughout the state.

Each year, MHQP conducts its Patient Experience Survey, Massachusetts' only statewide survey of patient experiences in primary care. The organization receives over 65,000 responses from commercially insured patients across the state. This year, MHQP announced its award program in order to recognize the state's highest-performing primary care practices. Using the survey's results, MHQP identified the top-performing primary care practices. The awards were broken into two main divisions, adult practices and pediatric practices, and included an overall performance category for those practices that garnered the most best-in-class results across the different categories.
