MIAMI, Oct. 25, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Jaret L. Davis, co-managing shareholder of the Miami office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., has been recognized by the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) South Florida Council with the Whitney M. Young Award, which honors respected community leaders and organizations for their service and support of the community.

The BSA South Florida Council, which is the local affiliate for Boy Scouts of America, serves thousands of youth in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe counties, with 200 collaborative partners, and over 2,000 adult volunteers.

The Hispanic Heritage & Whitney M. Young Awards were presented virtually. The awards are also a fundraiser to help support the BSA South Florida Council's outreach programs that bring the benefits of scouting to over 3,000 underprivileged youth annually in economically challenged communities.

Davis oversees approximately 170 attorneys and 200 business staff as co-managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig's Miami office, a position he has held for more than a decade. In addition to his practice, Davis serves in several civic capacities that allow him to give back to the community.
