Amid Growth, Polysack Adds COO and New VP of Marketing and Business Development

Polysack, a green-tech manufacturer of plastic film products for flexible packaging and high-shrink labels, announces the hiring of Yaron Bar, Polysack’s new COO, and Yair Gellis, Polysack’s new VP of Marketing and Business Development. With their appointments, Bar and Gellis will bring a wealth of experience in plastics and packaging.

Yaron Bar, a veteran in the plastic industry, served as a CEO at Elcon Recycling Center and VP Operations of Keter Plastic, where he managed the establishment of the company’s flagship manufacturing plant in Israel. Bar also established two products dealing with polymer replacements based on RIM-DCPD technology for industrial use. Yair Gellis was previously the head of Flexible Packaging at HP and holds more than 25 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry.

As demand for recyclable flexible films skyrockets due to the shift towards a circular economy, Polysack provides an immediate, environmentally friendly solution for packaging manufacturers with its Pack’N’Cycle films. The sustainable films are made of Mono Oriented PE (MOPE), which enables brands to produce 100-percent recyclable flexible packaging, including stand-up pouches, sachets, and roll-stock for vertical and horizontal FFS packaging lines. Polysack recently inked partnerships with HP Indigo Digital Presses and Flessofab, an Italian flexible packaging manufacturer. STS PRINT, a Bulgarian soft packaging converter, recently awarded Polysack its prestigious Prize Pack award.
