Options Trading Begins for the 3iQ CoinShares Bitcoin ETF (BTCQ)

3iQ Corp. ("3iQ"), the largest digital asset manager in Canada with C$2.5 billion in assets under management, today announced that the TMX Group began listing options for the 3iQ CoinShares Bitcoin ETF (the “ETF”) today on the Montreal Exchange.

The ETF, launched just last week on April 19, 2021, has already attracted more than C$250 million of investor capital. The ETF is available in Canadian dollars under the symbol “BTCQ” and in U.S. dollars under the symbol “BTCQ.U”. The ETF’s investment objectives are to seek to provide holders of units of the ETF with: (a) exposure to digital currency bitcoin and the daily price movements of the U.S. dollar price of bitcoin, and (b) the opportunity for long-term capital appreciation.
The initial options schedule and strike prices for the Canadian-dollar unhedged units of the ETF (Symbol: BTCQ) are as follows:
