RIVERSIDE, Calif., April 21, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Court records show that on March 26, 2021 a civil lawsuit was filed naming the County of Riverside and former sheriff deputy Michael Dean, Riverside County Superior Court Case No.: CVRI2101557. Additionally, a criminal felony complaint was filed against former Riverside County Deputy Sheriff on April 1, 2021, Riverside Superior Court Case No.: RIF2101368, which is attached hereto.
The Court records allege that Mr. Galindo's client was held against her will by the Riverside County Sheriff Deputy Michael Dean's use of intimidation and authority. The court records allege that Deputy Dean forced the client to perform sexual acts by using manipulation and intimidation while in performance of his duties as a law enforcement officer.
The court records allege that on June 6, 2020, Sheriff Deputy MICHAEL DEAN, while in the course and scope of his employment, responded to a domestic violence call in Moreno Valley, California. The court records allege that Riverside County Sheriff Deputies responded to the call and that Deputy MICHAEL DEAN took the Plaintiff away from the home. The court records go on to allege that the Plaintiff got into the sheriff patrol car driven by Riverside County Sheriff Deputy MICHAEL DEAN. The court records allege that Plaintiff asked Riverside County Sheriff Deputy MICHAEL DEAN to drive her to the Greyhound Bus station in Perris.
The court records allege that Sheriff Deputy Michael Dean then drove Plaintiff to an area near what Plaintiff believed was the sheriff's station in Moreno Valley. Plaintiff believes they were near Alessandro Blvd and Frederick Street. The court records further allege that Plaintiff told Sheriff Deputy Michael Dean that all she wanted was to get back to Arizona. The Sheriff Deputy started driving again. The court records allege that 10 or 15 minutes later Sheriff Deputy Michael Dean pulled over, stopped the vehicle and got out of the patrol. Michael Dean then opened the rear patrol car door where Plaintiff was sitting. The court records allege that Sheriff Deputy Michael Dean demanded that Plaintiff perform sexual acts. The court records allege that Sheriff Deputy Michael Dean asked to videotape Plaintiff while she was nude and made her touch herself sexually. The court records allege that Plaintiff again asked that she just be taken to the Greyhound Bus station and that Sheriff Deputy Michael Dean told her that he would take her there and give her $20 to perform sexual acts.
