Atotech Commences Initial Public Offering

BERLIN, Jan. 25, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Atotech Limited (“Atotech”), a leading specialty chemicals technology company and a market leader in advanced electroplating solutions, has commenced an initial public offering of 34,146,000 of its common shares. The underwriters of the offering will also have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 5,121,900 common shares from certain affiliates of The Carlyle Group Inc. (the “selling shareholders”). The initial public offering price is expected to be between $19.00 and $22.00 per share and the offering is being made pursuant to a registration statement on Form F-1 previously filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”). Atotech has applied to list its common shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “ATC.”

Citigroup, Credit Suisse, BofA Securities and J.P. Morgan are lead book-running managers for the proposed initial public offering.
