ROTH Capital Partners Announces the Addition of Hershel Gerson, Managing Director, Co-Head of Consumer Investment Banking

Mr. Gerson will partner with Paul Zaffaroni to lead the Consumer Investment Banking Group.

Most recently, Mr. Gerson was the CEO and Managing Director at ELLO Capital. Prior to joining ELLO, he was a Managing Director leading Consumer Coverage at Macquarie Capital focused on Food and Beverage, HPC and Restaurant sectors and prior to that was the West Coast Team Leader for BNP Paribas’ Merchant Banking Group. Mr. Gerson began his investment banking career at Credit Suisse in Los Angeles, where he spent approximately 10 years initially within the Financial Sponsors Group and later leading West Coast Retail and Consumer Coverage. He graduated from University of Texas in Austin with a BBA and Masters in Public Accounting and received his MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.

Mr. Gerson will be joined by an exceptional team who previously worked with him at ELLO Capital, including Danny Hurwitz (Managing Director – Investment Banking), JB Mitchell (Vice President – Investment Banking), and Evan Zaransky (Analyst – Investment Banking).
