At Chili's, we know what real families' dinners are like and we love them in all of their imperfect glory!
DALLAS, Sept. 26, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- We all know it – 4 p.m., hungry kids, you've got a hunger headache yourself, and you need to swing by a grocery store… the last thing that makes for is a chill family meal. At Chili's, we know what real families' dinners are like… and we love them in all of their imperfect glory! That's why yesterday, Wednesday, Sept. 25, we (Chili's® Grill & Bar), gave some of our most loyal Guests a much needed night off and a dinner for the books with the fam. But, it doesn't end there. We're looking to give one special family a year's worth of weekly dinners at Chili's (yes, allllllllll of the Skillet Queso and Southwestern Eggrolls)… so at least one day of the week is chill.

Is it any surprise that 82 percent of Detroit families can't sit down for dinner as a family each night? Not to us. So, we got in touch with some of our loyalty members in the Detroit area and told them two things 1) we'll take care of school pick up, and 2) dinner is on us!
A Chili-fied school bus? Yup. Topped with a smart car-sized Chili pepper? You bet. Decked out driver in Chili's swag? Obviously. CUSTOM CHILI'S SCHOOL SUPPLIES?! You heard right. We picked up these stressed out moms, dads, grandmas, sons and daughters in our sweet ride and took them for some Chili's favs, plus a few belly laughs with spiced-up table topics like, "Who is our spiciest family member?" And, don't think we let the night pass without capturing a family portrait – holiday card pics sorted.
